Organize a Fundraising Effort

Through this project, your own fund-raising efforts will greatly help the Monastery and the tradiiton of the Panchen Lama to which it is dedicated. Please contact Ruth Hayward, Executive Director at info@thepltlproject.org to discuss your ideas.


Volunteer

Please contact Priscilla Newton, Volunteer Coordinator, at volunteers@thepltlproject.org. Assistance is needed on many fronts and will make a difference.


FUNDRAISING GOALS—$3,000,000 Campaign

$2,000,000 to 2,700,00

for needed expansion and improvement; rooms or sq. meter units, decorations, etc., can be selected; public credit possible.


  • Construction of new Assembly Hall, offices, and apartments for the Dalai Lama, the Panchen Lama, the Abbot and guests.

  • Purchase of an adjacent chicken farm for conversion to agricultural, income-producing use.

  • Construction of all-weather Debate Courtyard for debate and study. — FUNDED

  • Purchase of a nearby 5-acre plot for new construction. — FUNDED


Endowment Campaign

Provide funds

to support the living, learning, and teaching expenses of monks in perpetuity. Donations will be invested to provide permanent support for monks.


Annual Giving

$330 per year

is needed to provide food and basic necessities for a single monk's sustenance. This need will continue until all monks are covered by the endowment plan.
